I’m not a big football fan, but when the Super Bowl rolls around I get excited to join everyone for the Super Bowl Holiday.
Super Bowl seems like it has become another holiday to celebrate since it has much more hype than most holidays. Here is a wonderful table layout for all the food for the party. Some guests will have as much fun looking at this table as they will watching the Super Bowl!
Football field table
These are the supplies you will need:
Green tablecloth
Ruler
Pencil
White contact paper
4 large gumdrops
4 straws
2 pipe cleaners
2 football helmets
Spray paint
2 pink or brown balloons
Felt scraps
Low-heat glue gun or double-stick tape
Cover the table with the green tablecloth. Using a ruler and pencil, mark each 1-yard line. Cut strips of contact paper as long as your table is wide, using the guidelines on the back of the paper. The number and width of the strips will be determined by the size of your tablecloth. Peel off the backing and place crosswise on the green tablecloth to look like a football field. If you have a large enough table, cut numbers from the contact paper to indicate yard lines.
Spray paint the helmets the colors of the Super Bowl teams. Blow up the balloons and gently push them into the helmets to form heads. Sketch facial features (eyes, brows, nose and lips) on paper, then place on felt and cut out. Carefully glue the features on the balloons with a low-temperature glue gun or double-stick tape.
