How to Make a Leprechaun Centerpiece
Create the Face
Paint eyes and a mouth on the tangerine using dimensional craft paint. Set aside to dry.
Make the Arms
Cut a 1-inch by 5-inch strip of green felt for the arms (adjust length if needed).
Cut small hands from flesh-colored felt and glue one to each end of the arm strip.
Assemble the Body
Turn the green apple upside down.
Place the felt arm strip across the apple and secure it by inserting a toothpick through the felt and partway into the blossom end of the apple.
Carefully place the tangerine onto the other end of the toothpick to form the head.
Add the Beard
Attach orange trim or yarn to the tangerine using glue or straight pins to create a leprechaun beard.
Finish with Hat & Ribbon
Decorate the hatband with green ribbon and place the hat on top of the tangerine. Secure with straight pins if needed.
Tie the remaining ribbon into a bow and place it around the leprechaun’s neck.
