Materials Needed for Handprint Stepping Stones
- List all the necessary materials:
- Large plastic bucket
- Premixed concrete
- Water
- Shovel or large stick for mixing
- Foil pan (16-3/4 x 12″ x 3”)
- Board for leveling the cement
- Petroleum jelly
Step-by-Step Guide to Making Handprint Stepping Stones
- Step 1: Mix cement and water in the plastic bucket.
- Step 2: Pour the mixture into the foil pan and level it with the board.
- Step 3: Apply petroleum jelly to the child’s hands and press them into the cement.
- Step 4: Add name, age, and a special drawing or design if desired.
- Step 5: Let the cement set, then pop out the stepping stone once dry.
