With the holidays not far away and winter weather closing in, kids’ projects can fill some hours in the house. Some stormy afternoon, have the kids make this turkey napkin holder for your Thanksgiving table.

Turkey Napkin Holder

Materials Needed:

  • 1 surgical glove
  • Scraps of felt

Fill the surgical glove with the rock salt. Tie end closed with a twist tie or a knot. Using scrap felt, cut out eyes and wattle. Glue in place on the glove thumb. Using the opened napkins, weave them in between the fingers of the glove to form the tail. Place the dinner napkin in between the neck (thumb) and the tail (fingers) of the turkey.

Creating an Indian village can be another entertaining activity for an afternoon.
