This centerpiece doubles as your fruit salad!
What You Need
- Styrofoam wreath form (24″diameter), cut in half
- Aluminum foil
- Toothpicks
- Leaf lettuce
- Rainbow-colored fruits: apple halves, strawberries, orange slices, pineapple, grapes, blueberries Toothpicks
- Gold foil-covered chocolate coins
- Small (green if possible) pot, dry ice, and warm water
Instructions
Completely cover one Styrofoam half with aluminum foil. Using toothpicks, cover the bottom of the Styrofoam with leaf lettuce. Attach fruit in rows to resemble a rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet), completely covering the Styrofoam.
Place one end of the rainbow next to a pot filled with dry ice. Spread coins around the pot and under the rainbow. Pour a little warm water over dry ice and watch the steam.
