A Sunset to Remember — West Coast of Iceland

It was one of those evenings I’ll never forget. I was on the west side of Iceland when the sun began to set, and the sky lit up with layers of purples, blues, and the most brilliant orange you can imagine. I stood there in complete awe, soaking it all in.

Way off in the distance, you can see the ocean. It felt like the world had quieted down just for a moment—like Iceland was putting on a private show before saying goodnight. The shapes of the land and the reflections in the water were just breathtaking.

I snapped this photo right then, hoping I could capture the magic I was feeling. And now, looking at it, I’m so glad I did. Sometimes, the best souvenirs are the moments we freeze in time with our cameras.
